"Masters of Doom" (book review)

"Masters of Doom: How two guys created an empire and transformed pop culture", by David Kushner, is one of those books that really managed to inspire me.

It tells the real story of John Carmack and John Romero, "the two Johns", two brilliant young men who loved games and programming and revolutionized the gaming industry, founding id Software, one of the most famous game developing companies in the world.

Thanks to the astonishing game engines created by John Carmack, always one step ahead, and the creative talent of John Romero, they developed such amazing games as Wolfenstein 3D, Doom or Quake, becoming millionaires in the process.

A story that proves that with hard work, talent and perseverance your dreams can come true.
