"21" (movie review)

Based on the book "Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six M.I.T. Students Who Took Vegas for Millions" and inspired by true events, "21" tells the story of Ben Campbell (Jim Sturges), a brilliant M.I.T. student who needs 300000$ to go to Harvard School of Medicine, his dream since he was a child. One day, he is introduced to a group of four students leaded by professor Micky Rosa (Kevin Spacey) who have become experts in counting cards in blackjack. They invite him to join their team and go to Las Vegas to win more money than he could imagine.

"21" was exactly what I expected, a very entertaining movie. Although the plot includes a good number of clichés of the genre and is quite predictable, it hooked me immediately and I really enjoyed the whole movie.

The cast includes two of my favorite actors: Kevin Spacey and Laurence Fishburne, and the beautiful Kate Bosworth, giving all of them a good performance.
