"Predator 2" (movie review)

predator2The first "Predator" movie is one of my favorite sci-fi action films of the 80's. It wasn't easy to make a second part at least good enough not to ruin the franchise, but the team of "Predator 2" did quite a good job, creating an exciting sequel full of action. Taking the story to a totally different scenery, and choosing a leading actor with no resemblance to Arnold Schwarzenegger was a smart move to give "Predator 2" its own personality.

Los Angeles, summer of 1997, one of the hottest ever. Crimes and gang wars are at its highest point. Suddenly someone (or something) kills all the members of a gang in a building completely surrounded by police and escapes without being seen. It seems it's safari time again...

Cast includes Danny Glover (again as a policeman), Gary Busey, Maria Conchita Alonso, Bill Paxton and Adam Baldwin (the great Jayne from "Firefly" and "Serenity").

It´s not Arnie's "Predator" but it´s still a pretty entertaining action film.
